RAWdevelop Ltd trading as Verametric Research ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use the Verametric Research platform ("the Service").

1. Data We Collect

Account Data

Email address — to create and authenticate your account
Display name — optional, used within the platform
Encrypted password hash — stored using ASP.NET Core Identity's bcrypt-based hashing; we never store plain-text passwords
Account creation date and last login timestamp
Subscription tier and transaction history — once payments are enabled

Usage Data

Ticker symbols added to your watchlists or submitted for analysis
DCF model inputs and saved assumptions
Server-side interaction logs (page visits, report generation events) retained for service integrity and abuse detection — not shared with any analytics platform

Technical Data

IP address — captured by our hosting infrastructure for security purposes
Browser type and operating system — standard HTTP headers
Session identifiers — see our Cookie Disclosures

We do not deploy advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or third-party behavioural analytics (e.g. Google Analytics). No third-party marketing scripts are loaded on any page.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

Contract performance — processing your account data to deliver the subscription service you signed up for
Legitimate interests — server-side security logging and abuse detection to protect the platform and other users
Legal obligation — retaining transaction records as required by UK company law and HMRC regulations

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure located in United Kingdom / European Economic Area data centres. Azure SQL Database provides encrypted-at-rest storage. All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.2 or higher. Role-based access controls ensure that only authorised platform components can access personal data.

4. Third-Party Data Processors

We share data with the following processors only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service:

Microsoft Azure — cloud hosting, database, and authentication infrastructure. Microsoft Privacy Statement
Stripe (when payments are enabled) — payment processing. Stripe operates as an independent data controller for payment card data. Your billing details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe Privacy Policy

5. Data Retention

Active accounts — your data is retained for as long as your account remains open.
Deleted accounts — personal data is purged within 30 days of account deletion. Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate statistics may be retained for platform analytics.
Transaction records — retained for 7 years as required by UK financial regulations.

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") — request deletion of your personal data. You can initiate this via Account › Manage › Delete Account, or by emailing legal@verametricresearch.com
Data portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) .

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email notification to registered users.
